Course Objectives: | Aim of the course is to present and make students acquire an understanding of: - trends in the competitive environment in which corporations operate; - changing ways companies organize and conduct their strategies and operations; - changing roles of management. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - To inform students about basic approaches, concepts, processes and terms of strategic management, and global issues, - To make students actively practice a strategic management practice including phases of strategical environment analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation planning and strategical performance analysis. - To create awareness and understanding on current and future global trends on economical, technological, sociocultural, environmental, ethical issues related to strategic management |
In an introduction to the global strategic management, students learn how to create competitive advantage in a global context.
