Engineering has been the most attractive profession in the last 40 years in Turkey, and it is one of the biggest areas of Bahçeşehir University. We can summarize the characteristics of Bahçeşehir University’s Faculty of Engineering as follows: - Majority of our academic staff have doctor's degree from foreign universities (mostly world’s top 10 universities), and others from ODTÜ, Boğaziçi, Bilkent, İTÜ and İÜ.
In our undergraduate programs; - The focus is to train students by allowing them to make researches and projects,
- Theory and practice are combined, well-equipped laboratories are used and new technological developments are followed up during the education process,
- Graduates are offered great advantages in finding job opportunities through our extensive CO-OP Program and the education offered in cooperation with large companies,
- All courses are offered in English,
- Students are offered important opportunities through our student exchange and double degree agreements with foreign universities, including Rutgers, Northeastern, Hong Kong Polytechnic, Massachusetts, Cleveland State, KAIST/ Korea).
- Majority of our departments offers master’s and Ph.D. programs in addition to the undergraduate programs.
