Course Objectives: | Over the years, the field of strategic management has had a major influence on corporate behavior. Terms such as cash cow, sustainable competitive advantage and core competence are frequently raised in day-to-day business conversations. In fact, the ability to apply strategic analysis to practical business problems has become a valuable skill in many occupations, including management consultancy, stock broking, merchant banking and corporate finance. The aim of this course is to give you the tools needed to analyze situations and think strategically. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Students who successfully complete this course; 1. Knows the importance and necessity of strategic management in terms of institutions. 2. Can understand the strategic decisions taken by institutions and have the ability to make strategic planning. 3. To be able to analyze internal and external environment in order to create strategies. 4. Will be able to explain the basic concepts, principles and practices related to strategy formulation and implementation. 5. Strategies can be created with different perspectives and can use information about their implementation. 6. Analyze and evaluate real-life companies and develop creative solutions from a strategic management perspective. |

1) | To learn and compare major sociology perspectives, both classical and contemporary, and apply all of them to analysis of social conditions. | |
2) | To be able to identify the basic methodological approaches in building sociological and anthropological knowledge at local and global levels | |
