Course Objectives:	This course emphasizes the use of computer as an integrated tool in design. Information on computer technology and its impact on the interior design profession are introduced. This course will teach the fundamentals of Google Sketchup Photoshop & AutoCAD software to illustrate the concepts and techniques.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
- Develop general presentation skills;
- Develop an understanding of the generic aspects of CAD;
- Facilitate the use of the computer in design process;
- Be able to deploy the CAD systems effectively as a drafting and presentation tool.

Course Content

- Google Sketchup as a 3D modeling tool & Overview of the Sketchup screen elements,
- Understanding various tool palettes,
- Google Sketchup draw/edit tools,
- Styles, Shadows, Material etc. Settings

- Introduction to Photoshop; Photoshop tools ,
- Creating and editing graphics using Photoshop,
- Preparing presentation using Photoshop.

- Introduction to AutoCAD user Interface and its components,
- Basic 2D Drawing Creation,
- Different methods of applying commands.
