Course Objectives: | This course has been designed for interior architecture students in order to give insights into and help them to accurately and effectively use the necessary architectural drawing and presentation techniques that they will need throughout their education and professional life in the future. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. develops their skill in thinking about and perceiving three-dimensional configurations. 2. are able to communicate their design ideas via architectural drawings. 3. are able to effectively use the drawing tools that they will use throughout their education and professional life in the future. 4. apprehend the necessary architectural drawing standards and techniques that they will use throughout their education and professional life in the future. |
In this course, students will be provided with the necessary knowledge of using essential drawing tools, definitions of various line and plane types and drawing the plans, sections and elevations and paraline projections of three-dimensional objects. In addition, related exercises will be done both in the classroom and at home as homework by the students. |
