Course Objectives: To teach changes and new movements at Turkish poetry

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
will be able to identify how a poet uses the language and different meanings he has given to the words.
•will define basic poetic differences among the poets who had lived in the same period.
•will be able to critically and analytically compare the poetic language with contemporary Turkish.
•will be able to identify historical and cultural motivations behind the classical poetry.
•will be able to identify every single characteristics and difference among the poets by comparing him/her with the others analyzed in class.
