Course Objectives: This course provides an intensive overview of the planning and control systems used by modern manufacturing companies to manage their supply chains. Managing the supply chain requires planning and control activities to ensure
the efficient, cost-effective flow and storage of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods, and related information from point of
origin to point of consumption.

Course Content

The course is designed for production planning and control activities in manufacturing. Based on the strategy of the business, demand forecasting, aggregate planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Inventory control, pull and push system designs, production scheduling, and supply chain management are the topics covered in the course.
