Course Objectives: | This course aims to focus on the concepts of globalization, communication and journalism from a theoretical perspective. It also analyzes the transformation of global media and communication in terms of new technologies and new media. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; - will be able to identify the impact of globalization and new technologies on the production of news, - will grasp the global changes and their effects and develop skills on news making concerning them. - will have an in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of news production on global news networks such as CNN; BBC, Reuters - will gain practical skills in writing news in an international format and style, |

1) | Adequate knowledge of subjects specific to mathematics (analysis, linear, algebra, differential equations, statistics), science (physics, chemistry, biology) and related engineering discipline, and the ability to use theoretical and applied knowledge in these fields in complex engineering problems. | |
