Course Objectives: Within the scope of this course, the student's master's thesis study, which she/he started a semester ago under the supervision of the thesis advisor within the scope of IMT888-1 course, and the literature review she/he completed within this scope, defining the problem regarding the subject of the study, clarifying the hypothesis/research question; field/case study construction; Following the data collection stages, the student is expected to complete the analysis and interpretation of the data collected and discuss the thesis based on the results and relevant literature.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
-To be able to search the literature in preparation for scientific study.
-To be able to develop a problem definition and hypothesis/research question in the relevant field for scientific study.
-To recognize various research methods and tools by analyzing studies in the literature and to determine those suitable for the study.
-To be able to select the field/case for the determined research topic and to define the population and sample.
-To collect data from the field with selected methods and tools
-Analyze and interpret the collected data by adhering to objective and statistical methods
-Interpreting the results obtained in accordance with the existing literature and finalizing the thesis study

Course Content

-Problem definition, hypothesis/research question development,
-Scanning the literature within the framework of the determined topic/problem
-To determine appropriate research methods and tools for the study.
-Selecting the field/case for the thesis topic; Defining the universe and sample.
-Collecting data from the field.
-Analyzing the collected data
-To conclude by interpreting the data together with the literature.
