Course Objectives: | The aim of the Communication and Relationship Management in Career course is to provide students with effective communication skills and to develop their ability to manage professional relationships. This course aims to teach students how to use oral, written and body language communication effectively in career planning, as well as conflict resolution in business life, creating professional networks and using these networks effectively. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Students who successfully complete this course 1) will be able to design a career plan 2) will explain the importance of Self-portrait, Self-empathy, Self-awareness concepts in career 3) will be able to develop career tools such as CV, interview and personality inventory 4) will be able to setup relationships in career 5) will distinguish the syndromes such as mobbing and bossing experienced in business life and be able to solve these syndromes with active communication. 6) will be able to set up and operate a team in career 7) will have ability to show performance in business life 8) will be able to prepare a career map 9) will be able to develop self-future planning. |
The course covers concepts related to career processes, including those relevant to employees' pre-career, job application, evaluation, and employment phases. Positive and negative experiences that can occur during these processes, and the methods necessary for managing them, are among the course topics. Personal and social skills that are effective in career development are also examined in the course. |
