Course Objectives: In this course, graduate students will learn about various theories of group counseling, the fundamentals of the group process, therapeutic factors, leadership characteristics, member roles and behaviors, and professional and ethical issues

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
• Ability to recognize and explain therapeutic factors in the group.
• To know group counseling theories
• To be able to distinguish stages of group counseling
• To know the characteristics (individual and professional) that a group leader should have
• Ability to recognize the roles and behaviors of members
• To know the ethical issues such as confidentiality, informed consent in group counseling.
