Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to teach the principles and practices related to the nutrition of professional and recreational athletes involved in various sports disciplines. The objective is to learn current practices regarding the nutrition of strength and power athletes as well as team sports athletes. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; The students who have succeeded in this course; Identify the nutritional needs of athletes, including micro-nutrients, and create and implement personalized plans for the athlete. Evaluate and implement pre-competition, during-competition, and post-competition nutritional requirements for various sports disciplines. Summarize the relationship between training and nutrition in different sports disciplines. Underline the impact of nutrition on athlete performance. |
