Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach the principles and practices related to the nutrition of professional and recreational athletes involved in various sports disciplines. The objective is to learn current practices regarding the nutrition of strength and power athletes as well as team sports athletes.

Identify the nutritional needs of athletes, including micro-nutrients, and create and implement personalized plans for the athlete.
Evaluate and implement pre-competition, during-competition, and post-competition nutritional requirements for various sports disciplines.

Underline the impact of nutrition on athlete performance.

Course Content

The definition of nutrition approaches specific to different sports disciplines and their effects on performance constitute the content of this course.
