Course Objectives: | This course aims to teach students the biology of the dental pulp and periapical tissue diseases, pulpal pain mechanism, root and canal morphology, and anatomical variations, the methods of the treatments within the scope of endodontics, and the materials used during these treatments |
The students who have succeeded in this course; At the end of this course, the students will learn: 1. Indications and contraindications of endodontic treatment. 2. Classification of pulpal and periapical diseases. 3. Pain control techniques in endodontics. 4. The endodontic microbiota and outline the subject. 5. Endodontic cases and discuss their treatment. 6. The radiographic interpretation in endodontic cases. 7. The pathobiology of apical periodontitis. 8. The diagnosis of nonodontogenic toothache. 9. Endodontic emergencies |
