Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with the background and experience for technical hardware, software technologies and specialization teminologies used in the production and post-production industry. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. They will learn up-to-date information about the technical preparation processes required before and during a shoot, particularly focusing on Visual Effects techniques, starting from Pre-Production." 2. They will understand the various specialized roles in the Post-Production sector (such as modeler, rigger, texture artist, character animator, compositing artist, roto artist, matte painter, CFX, FX artist, matchmove artist) and the responsibilities associated with these roles. 3. They will be able to analyze the techniques used in each phase of a production involving Visual Effects, as well as the software and technologies applied. 4. They will be able to professionally apply the equipment used in Greenbox video shooting techniques and visual effects production processes, as well as auxiliary equipment designed to facilitate post-production operations. 5. They will understand the pipeline software and hardware processes used between Production and Post-production, and will be able to apply the key elements necessary for successful production management. 6. They will apply compositing and color grading techniques according to industry standards while combining real-world video footage with 3D animation designs to produce a convincing visual effects scene. |
This course includes all VFX technical steps and applications that will provide students with the technical skills and knowledge to combine the techniques applied in the visual effects used in motion pictures, the 3D Animation character they designed, the objects and/or vehicles with real shooting, and successfully use two different disciplines. Teaching Methods: Lecture-based teaching, hands-on projects, individual and group work, case studies, workshops, simulations, feedback sessions. |

Course Notes / Textbooks: | Ödül kazanmış yapımların Görsel Efekt içeren sahnelerinin anlatıldığı ve incelendiği yapım aşamalarını içeren görsel ve videolar düzenli bir biçimde iletilecektir. Stüdyolar ve Post-Prodüksiyon şirketleri tarafından oluşturulan belgesel niteliğindeki teknik anlatım ve inceleme yazı/video materyalleri de öğrencilere iletilecektir. |
