Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to teach the basic principles of photography and the correct and standard techniques of intraoral and extraoral photography, which is an important part of patient records in dentistry.This course provides training in oral and dental health techniques that are well-equipped about the equipment and technique of digital photography, which is an important element of patient records. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; Explain the importance of dental photography. Defines the basic rules of photography. Distinguish basic concepts such as ISO/aperture/shutter. Classify SLR/DSLR cameras. Camera, lens, light source and accessories dominate the functions. Has the ability to use dental photography equipment at a basic level. Distinguish the basic types of dental photographs taken from patients. Proficiency in processing and archiving photographs. |
