Course Objectives: This course aims that preschool teacher candidates comprehend the development of musical development for children in early childhood period, and create and apply musical activities oriented them.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1-Creates rhythm, singing, dance and movement activities for 3-6 years old children.
2-Analyzes the importance of musical memory and rhythm perception.
3-Develops music and movement curriculum for early childhood education.

Course Content

Museum education, museum visit, the drawing stages of children, music development and psychology, rhythmic perception, body percussion, notes, symbols, collage, drawing, painting, motor development in preschool period and gross motor activities
