Course Objectives: This course aims to teach the awareness of positive foresights generated by the studies of social science and technology experts, along with methodological approaches. This awareness helps overall efforts for making a better future of humankind on multidisciplinary environments such as physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, engineering, urbanism, architecture, sociology, political sciences, education, ethics etc

The course arouses the necessary duty to take actions for understanding the future from today. Preparing oneself for future and shaping it for the benefit of the humankind is possible with identifying and completing the certain processes. Students who successfully complete the course are inquired and become self-aware on to be able to simply the complex structure of future along with the tools, methods and scenario studies, ensure it is widely understandable and adopt the accurate and beneficial ones for the society, livings and earth.

Course Content

This course provides a broad introduction at conceptual level, such as main components of futurism, main methodologies and scenario studies. Interactive learning that includes contributions and participations of students will be required. Each conceptual topic has a potential of considering as a profession area. Topics include “Future of Science &Technology and accordingly Economy, Industry 4.0, Digitalisation of Money, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented & Virtual Reality,Health in Future , Medicine and Life, Gene Technology, Augmented Human, Future of Mind and Brain , Global Threats, Law, Universal Values and the expected change on ethics will be mentioned and discussed.
