Course Objectives: The main aim of the course is to introduce students to competition culture in architecture and design, and to help them understand the nature of architectural competitions. To develop a habit of competition participation among the students is another aim of the course.

I. Develops the conceptual and theoretical knowledge further taken in undergraduate architectural education.
II. Conducts individually research and interpretations of the results on a selected topic in Architecture.
III. Develops alternative solutions to design problems using critical thinking on a selected architectural topic.
IV. Communicates the results of studies orally, visually and written media.
