Course Objectives: | The seminar addresses intellectual issues that shape the discipline of architecture and all related fields, and stresses the craft of tailoring and defending a scholarly argument. It encourages students to develop a theoretical, conceptual or contextual framework for the intended research topic for phd dissertation. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; PhD students in the early stages of their research are required to present their work in progress. The seminar presentation and the following discussions with the contribution of number of academics aim at evoking various ideas to help students in the process of developing the dissertation research idea. |
PhD candidates' development in academic research, analysis, interpretation and writing are evaluated. |
