Course Objectives: | The main objective of this course is to design a project, consisting of at least 3 different pieces, according to the chosen concept and subject, covering print, time-based, and interactive visual communication design areas. Projects could focus on social and commercial subjects. Students can also express themselves by doing art projects or experimenting new technologies. A jury is held every three weeks to give critics and grades. Several workshops are also organized to support the projects technically and conceptually. This is the second course of two which students should pass in order to graduate. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; I. Develop skills to find realistic projects by researching the market. II. Develop skills to create a brief III. Identify the global trends and local differences in the product selection of the visual communication campaign IV. Identify the technology and the media choice suitable for the concept V. Develop concept based on the needs of the campaign VI. Present the campaign with a suitable method of communication and format. VII. Display skills to connect with the market VIII. Display skills to use the technology and the media suitable for the concept IX. Display skills for innovitive solutions for design problems X. Use the design experience and knowledge in theory and practice on a visual communication campaign regarding the market XI.
