Course Objectives: | To teach early childhood literacy skills and child literature |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Students learn what is the differences between early literacy and reading-writing skills 2. Students become aware of emergent literacy skills in Turkish language 3. Students learn developmental changes in children?s literacy skills 4. Students learn to assessment of literacy skills of children 5. Students learn the differences between literacy skills of typically developing children and children with special educational needs 6. Students learn to support literacy skills of children from birth to seven years |
