Course Objectives: The purpose of this course, as the main determinants of health revealed social/societal factors, analyzed and assessment relationship of between social factors with health, disease, health services and medicine with a sociological perspective.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Basically learning outcomes of this course; compose of
(1) can be defined the concept of health and society,
(2) can be analyzed theories of health and social
(3) can be analyzed and assessed community / social determinants of health.

Course Content

Generally, content of health and society course consist of issues health, diseases and community definitions and theories, explanations and approaches of health and illness, factors affecting health, social determinants of health and analysis of health with community relations in a conceptual framework.
