Course Objectives: | The course aims to identify of heat and light modalities at physiotherapy and rehabilitation, to obtain the ability to use light and heat in rehabilitation. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1. Use superficial heat agents. 2. Distinguish the use of hot and cold applications. 3. Get the application skills of physical therapy agents such as Hotpack, Coldpack, infrared, UV and Laser. 4. Get the knowledge of Balneotherapy. 5. Get the application skills of hydrotherapy |
This course contains; definition of inflammation, heat conduction paths and cold application methods, superficial heat agents, distinguishing cold and hot application , hot pack application, hydrotherapy, paraffin, fluidotherapy, infrared and ultraviolet and balneotherapy. |
