| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide graduate students with knowledge about health psychology. |

The students who have succeeded in this course; Explains the main theories of health psychology. Analyzes the impact of psychological factors on health. Identifies individual and environmental factors influencing health behaviors. Explains the relationship between stress, coping, and the immune system. Evaluates psychological resilience in the context of health. Describes the psychological effects of chronic illness. Communicates effectively with patients and their families. Applies health-promoting counseling techniques. Discusses the impact of health beliefs and attitudes on the counseling process. Identifies ethical principles in the field of health psychology. Evaluates the role of family dynamics in coping with illness. Analyzes current research in the field of health psychology. |
