Course Objectives: Intellectual capital, which is a critical element for sustainable growth of businesses and societies, is a critical source of value for institutions and even countries in today's knowledge economy. Unlike tangible assets, the concept of intellectual capital, which is based on knowledge, experience, innovation and human capital, plays a major role in providing sustainable competitive advantage and is increasingly being addressed both in academic circles and in the business world. For today's businesses, their ability to sustain their existence in the global competitive environment they are in is closely related to their ability to use information effectively. From this point on, the principles of information management, which is increasingly being addressed in the course, are addressed, and the concept of intellectual capital as a type of capital that refers to information and information-based assets and team management, one of today's contemporary management components, are examined. Team management is a critical factor that directly affects success in the business world, academic environments and social projects, and one of the objectives of the course is to provide individuals and managers with the necessary knowledge, skills and strategies to make teamwork more efficient.

Course Content

Students are expected to attend and follow the class during class weeks. In cases where they cannot attend, they must notify the instructor in advance of their excuses. Students can contact the instructor about the classes they are missing and ask what is being taught in that class. It is the student's responsibility to complete any assignments and tasks that were not done for that class on time and to follow the content covered.
Lecture notes prepared by the instructor will be shared with students at the end of the class.
