Recommended Optional Program Components: Developing strategies, policies and implementation plans to address the issues in the fields of business administration and management, and evaluating the consequences according to the processes of quality.
Course Objectives: Entrepreneurship and innovation are the are the highest value-added elements in the new economy. This class aims to teach students interested in entepreneurship about creating awareness as applied to their career. This course provides students with a set of tools for and experience in finding and developing innovative alternatives in solving strategic business problems. They will work on creativity from individual and group perspectives, learn to identify innovation opportunities and barriers to innovation.

Course Content

In this course; basic concepts of entrepreneurship, social and economic significance of entrepreneurship, the process to become an entrepreneur, new business ideas, venture capital and other capital discovery methods, types of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture, stories of successful entrepreneurship, management, production, human resources, public relations and finance functions of small business administration are taught. Also, the course involves innovation processes, new idea generation, new idea and method application processes and entrepreneurial approach to innovation.
