Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach how nutrients are digested, absorbed, transported, metabolized, stored, and eliminated by the body. The foot contents and how this is affected by the storage conditions are also explained. Genetic factors of the metabolism are connected with knowledge of food digestion.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of this course, students will have an understanding of human digestion, and the underlying principles of healthy nutrition. He or she should be capable of giving sound basic advice on the nutritional requirements for good health, in consultation, also will be able to diagnose and treat nutrition disorders.

This course is made of class lectures, problem based learning sessions on nutrition.

2) Water - Nutrients and how much we need
, Water types , Proteins, molecules and structures, Cholesterol - types of fat in the body, Types of Fat found in food. Anorectal examination and the male genital examination are to be taught in clinical skills. -
3) Diet theories and options
,Alkaline disorders . The articles which discuss the diagnostic and screening tests are going to be evaluated in evidence based classes. -
4) Balanced diet
