Course Objectives: To teach basic concepts related to children's mental health, and children's mental behaviors and the ways to recognise them.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
At the end of this course students will be able to:
1. define basic concepts related to mental health
2. define factors affecting children’s mental health
3. evaluate behaviours specific to children’s developmental stages
4. assess symptoms of mental disorders in children and adolescents
5. establish effective relationship with the family when problems arise
