Course Objectives: The primary aim of this course is to prepare students for the thesis process and enhance their academic research skills. The seminar course aims to help students acquire fundamental knowledge about the research process, conduct systematic literature reviews, formulate research questions, and develop academic writing skills. This course provides a foundation for students to develop scientific thinking, critical evaluation, and academic communication skills, which are essential for success in the thesis process.

The students who have succeeded in this course will; Identify and effectively utilize databases containing scientific articles in the field of clinical psychology. Navigate the university library’s website and physical borrowing system to access academic resources. Use reference management software (Zotero) to organize sources and build an academic library. Apply systematic literature review techniques to examine recent studies in their field. Identify gaps in the literature, formulate research questions, and discuss them using academic language. Plan their research process in accordance with academic writing standards and contribute to the preparation of a scientific report.
