| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to support the development of healthy eating habits among family members, introduce nutrition principles appropriate to the life cycle, and evaluate the physical and psychosocial impacts of nutrition in family counseling. |

The students who have succeeded in this course; Explains principles of healthy nutrition. Identifies nutritional needs across the life cycle. Evaluates the impact of family structure on eating habits. Analyzes the physical and psychological effects of eating disorders. Associates eating behaviors with family communication. Designs nutrition programs for childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. Discusses cultural influences on nutritional habits. Teaches healthy food choices and meal planning. Addresses issues like obesity, anorexia, and bulimia in the family context. Describes ethical approaches related to nutrition in family counseling. Suggests strategies to promote healthy living within families. Applies nutrition-related intervention techniques in family counseling processes |
