Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed to give the skills of leading in data collection, analysing, criticising, evaluating and reporting steps of a scientific research process to the students.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Knows the research priorities,
Selects the suitable quantitative or qualitative design approach for solving the research problem,
Presents the theoretical framework of research based on a theory/model,
Groups the articles according to the evidence values,
Knows the research utilization and evidence based implementation steps in nursing,
Critically reads and evaluates a research article.

Course Content

The course contents are scoping out the problems in nursing, qualitative and quantitative reseach approaches for developing nursing practices, research ethics, research utilization and evidence based practices in nursing.
