Course Objectives: This course aims to introduce key concepts in the discipline of economics and its connection to the media. This course explores the determining factors in the production, distribution and consumption processes in the media field, and understand the relations of production in media sector in relation to the economic relations at work.

The students will be able to understand and critically think about the key concepts of media economics, and will evaluate the determining factors regarding the production and distribution in media.

Course Content

This course aims to introduce key concepts in the discipline of economics and its connection to the media.
