Course Objectives: To teach the students the historical development of health tourism in the world and in Turkey and to inform the students about the future of health tourism.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Health tourism, thermal tourism, medical tourism, wellness tourism in the world knows the applications.
Know the design and services of a health tourism center and its employees and their duties.
Recognize developing countries and destinations of health tourism.
A variety of operations and treatments offered to health tourism customers and visits and other services are known.
Knowing the needs of a health-care tourist, they will find ways to provide appropriate services.

Course Content

This course examines and compares the health tourism in all dimensions of the world and our country. Tourism, spa and wellness tourism, thermal baths etc. for the history, development and future of the health tourism in Turkey and the handicapped. and to explain the real life examples.
