Course Objectives: The aims of this course are to determine the basic principles of physiotherapy and rehabilitation of heart disease to assess the steps to be followed, to gain knowledge and skills about planning of assessment and treatment for the patient.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Discuss the cardiac system problems.
2. Stage evaluation parameters used in cardiac disease.
3. Describe the exercise test.
4. Evaluate people with cardiac disease
5. Define treatment approaches of cardiac disease.
6. Plan and apply the treatment of people with cardiac disease

Course Content

This course contains the anatomy and physiology of the heart, cardiac problems and risk factors, evaluation at cardiac rehabilitation, rehabilitation in coronary artery disease, rehabilitation in pediatric heart disease, rehabilitation after cardiac surgery.
