Course Objectives: | The objectives of this course are determined as health services marketing, health care delivery models in health care marketing management processes, target market, health consumers' behavior, marketing research, consumer demand forecasts in health care, distribution channels, in health services, pricing, marketing services, and evaluation of marketing strategies. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; • Explain the basic concepts of marketing, • Explain the characteristics of health care services, • Explain the marketing of health care services, • Be able to compare health care delivery models, • Explain the process of marketing management in health services, • Interpret the methods for determining target markets, • Explain the behaviors of health care consumers, • Be able to conduct marketing research, • Explain the consumer demand forecasts, • Be able to compare the distribution channels in health services , • Explain the pricing of healthcare services, • Explain the evaluation of marketing services, • Explain the healthcare marketing practices and marketing strategies. |
