Course Objectives: The objectives of this course are enable students to gain knowledge about macro-economic analysis, consumption, savings, investment functions, examining the formation of macro-economic balances, to explain national income and balance of real and monetary decision-makers develop their skills to benefit from the economic concepts, respectively.

The students who have succeeded in this course;

o Summarize the formation of macroeconomic balances,
o Explain the national income and product accounts,
o Explain the balance of real and nominal national income,
o Explain the determination of national income,
o Explain the monetary and fiscal policy,
o Explain the production and general level of prices,
o Comment on the functions of sectoral demand,
o Explain the investment demand, money demand, money supply.

Course Content

This course covers macro-economic analysis, the functions of consumption and savings, the formation of macroeconomic balances, the national income and product accounts, the balance of real and nominal national income, the determination of national income, the monetary and fiscal policy, the production and general level of prices, the functions of sectoral demand, the investment demand, money demand, money supply.
