Course Objectives: | Within the scope of this course, the student will increase his/her knowledge by conducting a literature review for his/her master's thesis study under the supervision of his/her thesis advisor; define a problem regarding the subject of the study; develop and clarify a hypothesis/research question; field/case study construction; and is expected to begin collecting data. Analysis and interpretation of the data to be collected and discussion of the thesis based on the results and relevant literature are within the scope of the IMT5888-2 course. Some of the stages mentioned above may also be included in the process of the IMT5888-2 course. |
The students who have succeeded in this course; -To be able to search the literature in preparation for scientific study. -To be able to develop a problem definition and hypothesis/research question in the relevant field for scientific study. -To recognize various research methods and tools by analyzing studies in the literature and to determine those suitable for the study. -To be able to select the field/case for the determined research topic and to define the population and sample. (continues with IMT5888-2) -To collect data from the field with selected methods and tools -Analyze and interpret the collected data by adhering to objective and statistical methods -Interpreting the results obtained in accordance with the existing literature and finalizing the thesis study |
