Course Objectives: The aim of this course: It will help you develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing at the basic level of French. Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Course Content

In this course, students will reach the A1 level, called Introduction or Discovery, which is the Basic User of the Common European Framework of Reference for French.
Teaching methods and techniques used in the course are: lecture, practice, individual work, group work, technology-supported learning and use of digital resources.
