Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to explain the concept of entrepreneurship to students, to develop business ideas, to prepare business plans and to provide them with the basic knowledge and skills required to be successful in entrepreneurship.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. Knows the basic concepts of entrepreneurship.
2. Can distinguish when a business idea is valuable and innovative.
3. Can create a business plan and business model.
4. Can apply market research methods for a business idea.
5. Can make financial planning for a business idea.
6. Can make goods/service production planning for a business idea.
7. Can present the business idea effectively.

Course Content

Within the scope of the course; theoretical information about entrepreneurship and business plan creation is given and a successful business plan is prepared and presented.

3) Business plan concept and business plan elements (market research): Researching the market using primary and secondary sources, identifying customers, current and future needs
4) Business plan concept and business plan elements (marketing plan): Examining the marketing mix within the marketing plan (product, price, distribution, promotion)
5) Concept of business plan and elements of business plan (production plan): Planning of production
6) Concept of business plan and elements of business plan (management plan): Adaptation of management functions to business plan, human resources management
7) Business plan concept and business plan elements (financial plan): Finding financial resources, planning investment, preparation of financial statements and financial management elements, accounting (budget and cash flow)
