Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students’ learning of macro- economic objectives and tools, interpretation of the indicators of economic policy and analysis of problems and solutions |
The students who have succeeded in this course; 1.Are able to determine the basic macro-economic concepts. 2.Identify theories contributing to the birth of macro-economics and its development. 3.Are able to analyze total supply and demand, total expenditure and similarities. 4.Are able to coprehend the concepts related to national income and calculate national ıncome. 5.Are able to analyze economy/investment relationships. 6.Know money and monetary systems,Central Bank and monetary policy. 7.Are able to comprehend inflation types and methods of struggling 8.Identify employment and unemployment policies. 9.Are able to analyze foreing trade policy and balance of payments sheet. 10.Are able to evaluate economics of Turkey, analyze economic growth, development and distribution of income. |
Basic concepts of macro economics, definition and calculation of national income, inflation, unemployment, stable national income level, money and fiscal policies, balance of payments, foreign exchange market, foreign trade theory and policy, economic growth and development are the main topics of this course. |
