Course Objectives: Labor Law recognizes the employee as the weaker party in a contract, which is why it includes various provisions and legal mechanisms to offer protection. While these regulations predominantly aim to eliminate the imbalance between the contracting parties, they also strive to maintain a delicate balance by considering the interests of both sides. The aim of this course is to deepen the understanding of students who are already practicing law, enhancing their research skills and fostering analytical thinking through an interactive discussion environment. In this context, students will be exposed to a selection of current debates in labor law, exploring both theoretical and practical perspectives.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
Students, who successfully complete the course, will be able to:

The research papers presented during the course will first be critiqued by fellow students, followed by feedback from the rapporteur and, finally, the instructor. This will be followed by both theoretical and practical discussions on the topic.
