Course Objectives: The goal of the course is to give the necessary knowledge about acoustic and sanitary installation systems for providing the optimum conditions in interior space. The students understand the concept and basic terms of architectural acoustics and sanitary systems, and will be able to apply the knowledge gained in the course to the design projects.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1. analyzes and evaluates room acoustics, sound absorbers and their application in interior design, sound insulation, and the design principles applicable in design studio projects,
2. uses in sanitary systems; building clean water sanitary (plumbing) system, types of fixtures and apparatus used in the building clean water plumbing system, building waste water disposal system, essential points in building clean and waste water system design, building hot water utilization and wet space design in design studio projects,
