| Course Objectives: |
Course discussions, which will focus on visual arts, particularly photographic understanding and method, will also include the perspectives of psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and aesthetics. The review of exhibitions and other related works, book reviews, photographic readings, oral performances and homework will enhance students’ knowledge.

| Course Content: |
In this course, students will learn how to develop their creativity that is the foundation of art production; how to use it in their photographic work through systematic study of well known pieces of arts.
For the perception and transformation of knowledge it into products, certain necessary practices of exploring artworks and visualization principles will assist to the students.
In this course, alongside contemporary and historical photographs, exemplary pieces in literature, painting and music will be analyzed. How the artists through his/her methods and thought processes produce the photograph in the most creative and unique matter will be discussed.
